If you had a Chance...

If you had a chance to meet the legendary pianist Sergei Rachmaninoff and talk to him, What would you ask?

What is your method of practicing the piano?  How many hours per day do you practice?  Do you break your practice into segments for example, one or two hour segments? Do you practice a large work section by section?  Do you only do this until you have mastered the piece or do you do it at all times?  When learning a new composition, do you still play the left hand and right hand separately first or do you play both hands but only short sections?

I might also ask if the pianist finds listening to other pianists' performances of the piece in question in order to learn that way or do you find it preferable not to do that.

I would ask those types of questions.
